In short

Pay online with Stripe, then we confirm your pickup and guide on WhatsApp.
Prices are in US dollars, per person, and depend on the tour length and group size, as shown before you pay.
Card payments are processed by Stripe; the merchant is Key 2 Destinations Tourism LLC.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour starts, with a full refund. No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time, or for no-shows.
Bookings made through another platform (for example Viator or TripAdvisor) follow that platform's terms and cancellation policy.

About these terms

These terms apply to tours booked directly with Key 2 Destinations Tourism LLC, trading as Layover in Nairobi ("we", "us"), through nairobilayover.com, on WhatsApp or by email. The tours take place in Nairobi. By booking you agree to them.

Bookings and confirmation

Book online: choose your tour length and group size, tap "Book now" and pay on Stripe's secure checkout, adding your tour date and flight details. You can also ask us first on WhatsApp.
After payment we confirm your guide, pickup point and timing on WhatsApp. Please give us your correct flight numbers and arrival and departure times, and tell us straight away about any delay or change.
If we cannot run the tour on the date you paid for, we will offer another date or a full refund.

Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars (USD), per person. The price per person depends on the tour length and the number of guests, and the total is shown before you pay. Larger groups are priced on request.
What each tour includes and excludes is listed on our home page. Entrance fees that are not listed as included are paid by you on the day.
Your bank may add its own currency conversion or card fees.

When you pay online, you pay through a secure Stripe payment link that we send you. Your card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page; we never see or store your full card number. The merchant name at checkout and on your card statement is Key 2 Destinations Tourism LLC.

On the tour

Routes, stops and timings are a guide. Your guide chooses the stops that fit your tour length and flight times, and may adjust them for safety, traffic, weather or opening hours.
We plan every tour to bring you back to the airport with time to spare before your flight. If your arrival is delayed, the tour may be shortened so that you still get back on time.
You are responsible for having a valid passport and the visa, eTA or transit permission your nationality needs to leave the airport and re-enter it, and for checking in on time for your onward flight.

Cancellations and changes

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour starts, with a full refund. No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time, or for no-shows. Full details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Your responsibilities

Make sure the tour is suitable for everyone in your group, and tell us before you book about any health or mobility needs.
Follow your guide's instructions and respect local laws and customs.
Look after your own belongings and purchases. We recommend personal travel insurance.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays, changes or cancellations caused by events outside our control, such as extreme weather, road or area closures, flight delays or cancellations, immigration decisions, government action or emergencies. If we have to cancel your tour for one of these reasons, we will offer you a new date or a full refund.

Our liability

We take reasonable care in arranging and running your tour. Parks, museums, restaurants, shops and other places you visit on the tour are run by independent organisations. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Problems and complaints

If something is not right, tell your guide or message us on WhatsApp straight away so we can try to fix it on the spot. You can also message us after your tour.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. We may update these terms; the version on this page when you book applies.
